Christine Schreyer

Christine Schreyer is an associate professor of anthropology at the University of British Columbia. Her research focuses on created language communities and the revitalization of endangered languages. Created language communities are groups of people who meet online and learn invented languages, usually from movies or books. This is Christine’s story of how she came to create a brand new alien language for the superman movie Man of Steel.
