Bernard C. Perley
Bernard C. Perley is Maliseet from Tobique First Nation in New Brunswick, Canada. He is director and associate professor at the Institute for Critical Indigenous Studies at the University of British Columbia. He combines his art and architecture background with ethnography to promote indigenous language revitalization and social justice issues. And, he loves drawing cartoons.
